iPad 3G’s Internet Plan Through AT&T
In this article I will be discussing the 3G internet plans from AT&T for the new Apple iPad 3G version that came out late last month. There are two internet plans at the moment from AT&T. There is the $14.99 plan that comes with 250 MB of data and there is the unlimited plan that goes for $29.99 plan.
Which plan is the right plan for you? When it comes to deciding which iPad 3G internet plan through AT&T you should get you need to take a look at how you will be using your internet plan and what you will be doing online. Like for instance, if you are going to be only downloading small files or checking your email then you would probably want to go with the 250 MB plan. If you are going to be using the iPad to download large files or watch lots of Youtube videos or use the internet connection for work purposes then you might want to go with the unlimited plan.
Now let’s talk about each of the iPad’s 3G internet plan through AT&T individually. The first of the 3G internet plans from AT&T is the 250 MB plan. This 250 MB plan roughly translates in to thirty five minutes of Youtube videos in standard definition, eight to ten minutes of watching you tube videos in 720P hi-definition, downloading around 75 mp3s, browsing roughly 3,000 web pages, or downloading 4,000 photos from Facebook or MySpace. Now once you get down to 25% left it will notify you and it will do the same when you get down to 10%. When you have used all of your 250 MB it will prompt you to either reload or to switch to the unlimited plan to keep using your internet service. No overages and no contracts!
Now let’s discuss the unlimited plan from AT&T. The unlimited plan is truly an unlimited plan because it comes without the 5 GB cap. Now if you are planning on using your data plan for things like work or to downloading large files then the unlimited plan is probably the best for you. AT&T is also including free AT&T Wi-Fi hot spot access for people who have the 3G internet plan. So that means that when you are at some place like Starbucks you can connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot for free and it does not go against your data plan.

The Samsung E900 Cellphone
The Samsung E900 mobile phone was highly popular on its launch and has not failed to stay that way. If you desire a used phone for an inexpensive price, you could do a great deal worse. On first impressions, the Samsung E900 is relatively stylish. On sliding it open, you will find that the keypad is rather slick. If you have had experience of using the LG Chocolate model KG800, you will notice that there are some definite similarities.
When the phone is turned on, two soft keys light up atop of the keypad. They provide you with access to both the menu and address book. This means that you can call from there directly. The send key and end call key will also light up on the keypad. These keys are found on the bottom row. When the phone is switched to MP3 player mode, a further three buttons will light up. These buttons are for playing and pausing music and for tracking back and forward. This means that you can see when the device is being used as a cellphone and when it is being used in MP3 player mode.
The front panel keys are all touch sensitive, excluding the central mechanical main navigation key. This is advantageous in our opinion. A mechanical key is beneficial when you do not wish to or are not able to use touch sensitive keys. A large number of people prefer using mechanical navigation keys and for this reason it is a definite advantage that the E900 Samsung provides you with both.
On the left-hand side, the Samsung E900 cellphone features a rocker button for the adjustment of call volume and music player volume. In addition, there is a feature which allows you to reject and silence calls.
On the right-hand side you will discover the button to turn the phone on and off as well as the main control button for the MP3 player and the camera’s shutter button. Below these buttons is a combination socket for a charger or headphones. The headset for the E900 is hands-free – it allows for the listening of music and receipt of calls. However, its sound quality is not rated as the best and as it does not feature any dedicated controls, it can only be controlled using the phone itself.
If you turn the cellphone over, you will discover that the back of it is sleek black in color and features a loudspeaker. The speakerphone constitutes one of the best features of the Samsung E900 cellphone. Not only is it very clear but it has a high volume.
On the base of the phone there is a memory expansion slot. This is for the insertion of a MicroSD card. These cards are now available with capacities of up to 4GB. This should prove adequate for anyone.
Finally, we turn to the 2 megapixel camera. Unfortunately, it proves pretty standard. It features a weak flash and is not overly impressive.
Overall, the Samsung E900 mobile phone is stylish in appearance and possesses a decent set of features. However, in some areas, it is a let down. This phone is not bad to have second hand.

Blackberry Curve 8900
The Blackberry Curve 8900 is a three G phone that grabbed my attention recently. First I saw it in my boss`s hands and then with my brother who was visiting me. I got to use it for a week and was impressed. As I was choosing cell phone family plans, I decided to purchase this phone.
A recent offering from RIM the 8900 is a good choice for mailing and messaging. The screen resolution is high and therefore the results are sharp and well defined. The keypad is user friendly and has a raised design which facilitates comfortable texting even when you hold it in one hand. The Curve 8900 has a 3.2 mega pixel camera with auto focus and flash. The snaps are sharp.
There is recording feature too.The cellphone plays MP3 and AAC audio functions, the video quality is amazing. The speaker sound is petty decent too.Downloading stuff from the internet is very simple and uncomplicated. It has a 1400mAh Lithium battery and performs consistently even as you listen to music and are busy making calls. The interface is very good and the icons are uber cool and stylish. The color effects are great too.The auto focus camera easy and efficient browsing and the incomparable Wi-Fi make the curve 8900 one of the smartest phones in the market if not the best.If at all there is a let down it is the absence of 3G.It comes in three alternatives namely Vodafone , Airtel and Reliance.
Coming to the product specifications it weighs 110 grams, the size is 109x60x13.5 mm.The memory capacity is 120 MB.The talk time duration is less than 6 hours. It is Blue tooth and Wi-Fi enabled.
To summarize the set has a full QWERTY keypad and track ball navigation,it is GPRS and Wi-Fi enabled has a camera with auto focus and complete office application. My assessment is based on great looks, efficient features, user friendliness and flawless performance. Priced at INR 30000 its a decent buy and great value for money.
