Probably the most discussed cell phones available on the market include the amazing smartphones such as the Nexus-One, the brand new item released through Google and also the popular long lasting Apple iPhone 3GS that rapidly took over as the preferred system of everyone, not only Apple and Mac enthusiasts. The top question is which of these products would come out first in a comparison? We are talking about a iphone vs Google Nexus situation.

To resolve this question we’ve got to examine these respectively through several points of view. One of the things which is noticeably apparent when you begin to evaluate these is the fact that Nexus-One offers a rather larger display screen, however Apple’s iphone nevertheless appears thinner and is particularly elegant.

The next basic distinction among both would be that Apple one just isn’t very good at handling multiple tasks, however this Nexus-One which is run through Google’s personal android operating program does not contain as much applications or “apps” as opposed to the iPhone. Even though when the Apple phone was first launched it did not come with as much apps as well but thousands were created in a short amount of time.

It might not be fair then to compare the amount of apps in each subsequent phone at the moment because it is almost a fact that the newcomer will come to have many authors creating apps for it.

Much more considerably you can find the Google item includes a larger projected speak time of about seven hours whilst Apple just has five hours of talk time. In addition to that, the stand-by amount of time in actual live assessments had been greater pertaining to Nexus compared to competitors.

In case we were even now to compare both we will have to propose into debate the higher quality digital camera of 5 mega pixels from the Google mobile phone. The Apple cell phone just has a 3 megapixel digital camera yet a few say the lens is better and might actually put out a better overall quality.

In terms of the cost, Google obtains the lead since the total price associated with buying one tends to be less than the entire cost with the Apple one. This might still develop into the long term important element even though Nexus-One being something new as well as being from an organization that has in no way created cell phones might come across some skepticism.

Right now the iPhone obviously appears to be a popular choice since it includes a large database of applications accessible as well as if you decide to compare and contrast the Nexus applications together with the caliber of the applications from the Apple one you’ll most likely realize that the ones made for the iPhone tend to be a lot more in depth, possess a much better style and also move quite quicker. Also these make as very good iPhone gifts especially because you can choose iPhone apps as gift ideas based on the likes or dislikes of the recipient. However, Nexus gets some points regarding much better data access.

Each Apple customer has attempted to match the brand new Nexus-One and the iPhone despite the fact that the rating panel is tight and Apple cell phones appear to end up being the winner in this fight on the market at this time.

Are you tired of paying overly expensive monthly phone bills on either your landline or cell phone plan? If so then you now have a way out, a way to to reduce your phone bills and not just slightly but by a lot! The way to do this is by getting the femtoJack.

With the introduction of the femtoJack (created by the makers of the magic Jack), calling has now become cheaper than anyone could have ever imagined. With the femtoJack one can make calls from their cell phone while at home for just $19.95 per year. This includes both local and long distance calls without a limit on the number of minutes.

With the extremely low price I’m sure I have caught your attention but my guess is that you are now wondering what the femtoJack is. Well, the femtoJack is a revolutionary USB femtocell device that connects directly to ones computer and works by wirelessly routing cell calls over a broadband internet connection. By doing this it allows your phone calls to be sent over a VoIP network rather than over your cell carriers cell network. The result as stated above is unlimited mobile phone calls while in range of your femtoJack.

And what else is so great about the femtoJack? Lots of things! To start, it is super easy to use. All you have to do is plug it into your computer with your cell phone within a few feet of your computer for the setup process. This setup process entails an automatic femtoJack software download and then a request for you to enter a code into your phone in order to sync it with your femtoJack. Once this is done you are ready to go.

Other advantages of the femtoJack include that it comes with all standard landline features (caller ID, conference calling, call waiting, etc.) at no additional cost, the femtoJacks ability to create a signal for calling in areas of your home where you previously experienced a dead zone, and also femtoJacks ability to work with cell phones that aren’t activated with a mobile carrier. The femtoJack is also great because it can work with multiple cell phones so that you can even save on your family cell phone plan.

If you want to save some real money on your home phone service or downgrade your mobile phone plan then the femtoJack could be a real solution for you. Unfortunately the femtoJack hasn’t been release to the public yet. At this point it’s just a waiting game to see when it will be available.

US Cellular, while not very well advertised, has a great promotional plan on their National coverage area. They have exceptional signal even in rural areas. The promotional plan is the National 1000. For a single line you get 1000 anytime minutes, unlimited incoming calls, texts and picture messages. You also get unlimited Nights and Weekends with your nights starting at seven at night and ending at seven in the morning, as well as unlimited Mobile to Mobile.

US Cellular also has amazing customer service while still being one of the most <a href="http://cellphonefamilyplansinfo.com/cheapest-cell-phone-plans/"title="" >cheapest cell phone plans around. They start with a thirty day guarantee. Within thirty days a customer can change their mind about which phone they chose, or completely cancel service for any reason. Activation fees waved and the customer will only be billed for the minutes used within that thirty days. Secondly, account holders are allowed up to four FREE battery swaps a month. FOR FREE! If your battery dies and you are stuck without a charger, no problem! Just come into a US Cellular store and they will give you a battery in exchange for your old one! US Cellular backs up your contacts FOR FREE. No hidden fees for downloading the application like with Verizon.

You can also have your phone auto backup while you are asleep so you never have to worry about manually backing up your contacts. If your phone is lost, all your contacts will be loaded to your new phone or to your computer. It’s easy. US Cellular doesn’t just stop there, they offer free overage protection. When you hit 75% of your allotted minutes US Cellular sends you a text message letting you know. It also sends you a text when you hit 100%. Remember all incoming texts are free so you don’t even have to worry about being charged for the text they send you. If you opt to get a text plan but decide not to get the unlimited text plan, you can get free overage protection for your texts as well.

Last but definitely not least US Cellular will never completely lock you in to a plan. You can change your price plan or features whenever you want and without extending your contract. You can go to a more expensive plan or to a cheaper one and they will do it without trying to talk you out of it and without you being stuck with the company for another two years.

To review, US Cellular offers great reception for a reasonable price but it’s the extras that really give you a better value over the competitors. A new battery for a phone averages fifty dollars, with US Cellular they flat out give you a battery if you need it. Other companies tack on additional fees and extend your contract for things that should just be customer service issues. In short, if you don’t have US Cellular, you better be asking yourself why.

Until some time ago calling our sons and daughter wasn’t really cheap. A short cellphone call would cost over one dollar easily. But since we started using the T-Mobile <a href="http://cellphonefamilyplansinfo.com/"title="" >cell phone family plans it isn’t a problem anymore. Now we can talk without thinking about costs. Talking now is as cheap as free!

We benefit from unlimited Night & Weekend Minutes, so when my son goes out with his friend I can call him to know if he arrived well and when hes coming home. The change in the phone bill is notable. Nearly half the expenses than before. I recommend this plan to every family who is interested in saving money in calls. But not only do I spend less money but also does my son and daughter. When they spoke hours on the phone with their friends it was a problem for us who paid the bills. But the family plan is not only for the family but also they can talk to their friends every night for free after 9pm.

Also T-Mobile offers a Nationwide Digital Roaming when we call another T-Mobile phone in the whole USA. The good thing of this is that you don’t have to pay expensive roaming costs for the call. These things made an important difference. But the biggest change was with the free Nationwide Long Distance for life calls that come included in the family plan. My wife has to travel around the country a lot because of her job and when the kids miss her they want to talk to her. This plan makes it possible to talk for a low price from your home to wherever the other family phone is in a 2000 miles radius. But now. what if my son was also away in some other place and we wanted to talk all together? T-Mobile offers a three-way-call. What does this mean? Well this means that three phones can talk together. So my wife, my son and I can share at the same time what were doing and how much we miss each other. Why miss this opportunity to do all this things for a low price? I really must say, this plan is great.

I’m really happy with Sprint’s family plans. I had AT&T for years and finally, after my iPhone was unable to get 3G service for the hundredth time, I switched the entire family over to Sprint. I was sad to lose my iPhone (they’re such <a href="http://cellphonefamilyplansinfo.com/cool-cell-phones/"title="" >cool cell phones!), but happy to get a phone that actually worked. We all kept our numbers and the kids were happy to get new phones.

One thing that I really like about Sprint is that they have more than one family plan! It’s nice to be able to take into account everyone’s usage patterns when making a decision on which plan to get. I use a smart phone, my husband uses a blackberry, my daughter is a phone-a-holic (she’s 15) and my son never uses his cell phone (we got it for him for emergencies), putting all of this on one plan didn’t look to be an easy task.

But, I did my research on the various plans on the web and then went into a Sprint store. The salesman could not have been nicer. He asked about all four of our usage patterns and what we primarily use our phones for. He understood pretty quickly that my daughter, my husband and I are all pretty heavy phone users, but that my son is a minor user at best. The salesman recommended that for now we don’t include my son on the family plan, but rather get him a prepaid phone loaded with minutes — the minutes cost more to use, but we won’t be charged a monthly fee. When he starts to use the phone more, we can switch him over to the family plan.

We checked into different <a href="http://cellphonefamilyplansinfo.com/"title="" >cell phone family plans my husband, daughter and myself and he recommended the “Everything Data Family – with Any Mobile, Anytime” plan. This plan has free unlimited data (perfect for me and my husband) and unlimited mobile to mobile calls, unlimited calls after 7 and unlimited texting (perfect for my daughter). I think that the unlimited mobile to mobile calls is wonderful (whoever thought of it must have a teenage) – because of this we were able to get a 1500 minute plan for the three of us.

With Sprint, we’re spending around $160 a month (plus $100 initial outlay for my son’s phone), so, not only does my phone work now, but I saved us a ton of money over AT&T! In addition, now that we have unlimited texting and unlimited mobile to mobile calls, it’s nice to know that I won’t be opening up any surprisingly exorbitant phone bills from my daughter! Sprint has made a former-AT&T customer very happy!

The current cellular phone market gives users more choices than ever before. Check out these <a href="http://cellphonefamilyplansinfo.com/latest-mobile-phones/"title="" >latest mobile phones to hit the market.

Of course, one of the most popular, <a href="http://cellphonefamilyplansinfo.com/cool-cell-phones/"title="" >cool cell phones available now is Apple’s iPhone. The iPhone has gone through several generations, and the most recent version is the iPhone 3G. The iPhone’s unprecedented success is largely attributed to the iPhone’s App Store, which allows programmers and developers to release their “apps” directly to end users. The iPhone, like many smart phones, boasts a color touch screen and can connect to the internet via WiFi, the EDGE network (aka “2G”) and 3G wireless, when available. Although there has been much speculation as to the iPhone being available on other networks, for now the only carrier choice for iPhone users is AT&T. In some metropolitan areas, such as New York City, the AT&T network has gotten a bad reputation. The iPhone’s on screen keyboard is far and away the best touch screen typing experience available on any phone.

Another newer entry in the smart phone segment of the cellular phone market is the Palm Pre. This phone boasts Palm’s own operating system, known as WebOS. Its unique selling point, is its ability to simultaneously run multiple applications. In addition, the Palm Pre features a slide out physical keyboard, making it an excellent choice for those who don’t want to deal with the iPhone’s on-screen keyboard. Of course, the Palm Pre can function with just the on screen keyboard as well. In addition, Palm has recently released a smaller and less expensive version of the Pre known as the Palm Pixi. Both phones are available on the Sprint network, although the Palm Pre will soon be available on other cellular phone networks as well.

Google’s Android for mobile phones is another choice of cellular phones. When the T-Mobile G1 launched in late 2008 it launched a wave of Android devices. At the time, speculation was that Google would not sell phones themselves, but rather would simply provide the operating system for manufacturers. However, in early 2010 Google surprised the industry by announcing the sale of the Nexus One, a phone sold directly by Google that runs the Android operating system. This phone features a blazingly fast 1 gigahertz Snapdragon processor, making it the fastest Android phone on the market. Unlike the T-Mobile G1 or the Motorola Droid, it does not feature a physical keyboard at all. Although it does not feature nearly the number of applications or end users the iPhone enjoys, the Google Nexus One presently remains the fastest Android cellular phone on the market.

With so many <a href="http://cellphonefamilyplansinfo.com/"title="" >cell phone family plans out there, and each with a multitude of different service plans, there is undoubtedly a plan available for every need the general public might have.

A new trend in plans has been emerging in which consumers are allowed to pick a certain number of phone numbers which that person may then enjoy unlimited calling with, without using up airtime.

Two of those plans are T-Mobile’s MyFaves plan and the A-List plan from AT&T. T-Mobile’s MyFaves plan allows the customer to choose 5 phone numbers which then can be called for an unlimited amount of minutes. The 5 numbers can each be switched out for a different number once per billing cycle.

MyFaves comes with a variety of anytime minutes, ranging from 300 anytime minutes (for only $39.99 a month) and progressively more minutes for more money. MyFaves can either be bought as an individual or family plan, in which case each family member would be allowed 5 numbers to make unlimited calls to. The A-List plan from

AT&T allows a customer who purchases any plan with a monthly charge of $59.99 per month or higher, to choose 5 numbers which the customer can then enjoy unlimited calling to; with family plans, any plan with a monthly charge of $89.99 per month can choose 10 numbers for unlimited calling. AT&T’s plan also includes rollover minutes in which unused anytime minutes can be rolled over to the next month and therefore not lost. Both of these plans are available to new customers on a 2-year agreement.

While each has its pros and cons, it seems to be clear that T-Mobile’s plan might be more appropriate for individual phone lines (especially since the monthly charge required is lower in the first place), while AT&T’s plan might be more suitable for family phone lines, where more minutes are required and the minimum monthly charge is often higher in the first place.

Without a doubt, these two cell phones companies have given customers a unique opportunity in offering these plans. Since the average consumer often calls around 5 people much more often than others, this plan can be a huge savings for the customer while maximizing the customer’s ability to use his phone plan to the fullest extent.

Before you sign a contract for cell phone family plans, choose a plan and a company that meets your needs.

Where can you make and receive calls? Most providers now offer a choice of local, regional, or national plans. A local plan offers low-cost options if most of your calls are near home. Regional plans generally offer a larger geographic area – sometimes several states. If you call outside the area covered by these plans, you will pay long distance and roaming charges in addition to the airtime used. National plans are the most expensive, but they let you use your phone anywhere in the country for a single per-minute price.

How frequently will you use the phone? If you just want a phone for emergencies, an economy plan with a few minutes a month may be all that you need. On the other hand, if you are going to be a heavy user, a plan with several free hours and the lowest airtime charge is a wiser choice. If you plan to use texting, pick a plan that will meet your needs and avoid surprises on your billing. Most services allow you to upgrade a plan without an added charge.

Is a family plan option available? Instead of individual cell phone plans for each member of the family, you can share one cellular service plan and a pool of monthly usage minutes among several phones. The cost of the additional numbers per month is usually less than if you purchased individual accounts.

Is there a trial period during which you can test the service? Many people experience dead spots where a cell phone doesn’t work. A trial period lets you test your service and try the features of the phone without incurring a termination fee.

Know your options. Make sure you are only buying the options or features you really need. It is always easier to upgrade a plan later if you feel you need an added feature.

Are there fees or limits on changing your plan? Some providers charge a fee if you want to downsize or upgrade your plan. Others limit how often you can make changes.

What happens if you want to cancel your service? Most providers have a penalty. This is a concern if you have to move out of the area covered by your plan.

Pay-As-You-Go Plans. If you want cell phone service only for emergencies or aren’t sure how much you will actually use a cell phone once you get it, you may want to consider a prepaid cell phone before you commit to a long-term wireless contract. With a prepaid cell phone, there is no contract to sign and no monthly bill to worry about. You will know exactly how much you spend. The down side of prepaid plans is that you pay more per minute, and if you don’t use the phone for an extended period of time, you could lose the money in your account. If you’re looking for the <a href="http://cellphonefamilyplansinfo.com/cheapest-cell-phone-plans/"title="" >cheapest cell phone plans, this might be the right choice for you.
